Oh man, this is a hard one, theres so many simply amazing bassists. I must say I've got to go with something Victor Wooten. I'm a fan of his. The bass is such an awesome instrument and can sound amazing if you're good enough.

I like Victor Wooten too. I'm not really familiar with his stuff, but I really do like the one (I can't remember the name, shame on me) that I think is entitled, "Me and my Bass Guitar".
