I came back in to check on her and she was up making her bed, so she wouldnt have to in the AM. I freaked out and yelled at her and I am so angry that I am shaking. And I can barely keep my words coming out smoothly. All becuase she was being lazy. She is that way very often. But I know I shouldnt be this mad... Please help, what should I do? I feel that I could literally punch a hole in a wall. I have a great marriage and I am under very little stress. I have been this way for as long as I can remember.

I am type 2 bipolar but have went off my meds since last December. Due to the side effects. Do you think it could be due to this?

To the guy who said something about"Who cares when she makes her bed?" I am upset because she is always trying to get out of doing things herself. She is just LAZY! I dont tell her this of course. And I just laid out a lot of money on this new comforter set and she is sleeping on it? No, I dont want her to wear it out or sweat through the night or get body oils on it. it is for looks only. I just want her to be responsible. Not always looking for an easy way out. She is setting herself up for a miserable life if so.

yeah, it's what happens to us bi-polar people...you should get back on the meds, but find a doctor who is going to keep working with them until they are right...if he won't, then change doctors...and depending on the side effects...maybe you should take them anyway

I know EXACTLY how you feel

Did you take yourself off your meds, or did your doctor? It very well could be that you (if you took yourself off) didn't do it in the proper way or time.

It sounds like you do have a pretty serious anger management problem, and at the very least, should go in and talk to your doctor asap. You might need to go back on your meds, but there is no shame in this. It is a chemical imbalance and needs to be rectified. You don't want your daughter to think that this is the real you, do you? j

Good luck!

First off, who gives a RAT'S *** WHEN she makes her bed? She made it, didn't she?

It IS HER bed, right? Or are you just loaning it to her?

Chill out, please! And get off of the drugs. That's behavior caused by DRUGS!

Start getting sufficient sleep, start eating three times a day, get plenty of exercise and do stuff outside.

Making her bed? WHO CARE IFSHE'S SLEEPING ON A MADE BED? COME ON! GIVE ME A FRIGGING BREAK!!! "Mommie Dearest"

And, that's not LAZY. Lazy would be if she DIDN'T make her bed. You're WAY, WAY, WAY out of line.

Chill out. Take a walk.

You wouldn't want someone to treat you like that, would you?

Lazy? Who always said, "You're so lazy?"

Now, you know how to be a good mother, otherwise you wouldn't be bothered by this situation, right?

So, go be a good mother! You can do it!

I think you are going to need to learn to chill. Take it from someone that raised 3 boys. When life gives you lemons then you have got to make lemonade. And you'll be drinking a lot of lemonade when you are raising a child. Just chill. Things aren't really that critical. Blow stuff off. Its ok. Breath...

You should go to an "Anger management class". You are out of control. For some reason your little girl pushes your buttons. YOU NEED TO GET CONTROL OF YOURSELF!! Children are Gods blessings to us. You are in danger of hurting her. Put things in perspective...was it really worth blowing a gasket?!?! Go get help...NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
