Ugh, been down that road, and I still feel the pain when I remember back. But, at the moment nothing is gonna make it go away for you, it's still hurting you too much just yet.

Unfortunately time really is the only thing that will help. You'll move on, you'll learn to trust another man someday (you just don't think so right now) and you'll find another guy that will make you fall 'in love' once again.

Patience and time...I wish the best for you.

I know how you feel. I think I am in the process of going through a trust issue with someone that might actually truly love me. I dont think I have healed and its basically been over 2 years. THe first person I ever truly loved told me that Im **** in their world..when he told me that he loved me. THe second guy I loved maybe a year after that cheated on me..or really cheated on his WIFE, he also had a daughter. So maybe healing really is a grieving process. Its like we really have to acknowledge the hurt and just realize its something that has happened, its over and done and we must look toward the future and just leave the past alone. ITs a process..a hard one. I dont think I am much help to this but I hope someone is because I know exactly what you mean. Its not a great feeling.

You take one day at a time. It's a pretty slow process.

And you find someone you can trust. That can be an even slower process. At some point in time you learn that you're not alone, that there are men whose actions are guided by their principles, not their glands.

You get justifiably cautious of course. But some day, you're going to find someone that you can risk being vulnerable with. And who knows, you may get burned again. There are no guarantees in life. But you also learned that finding the right person is worth that risk, because the right person makes all the pain you went through worthwhile. Good luck.

usually I heal faster than the MAN in that case. He usually gets lacerations to the head.

I feel that way about women mostly. Time, beer, meditation for weeks on end helps a bit too. Finding somebody you do like who is male would help. Maybe your caution is well placed. "Once bitten, twice shy"

nothing heals that kind of pain - except for time. I know you probably did not want to hear that but thats all I have got - it worked for me
