i had so many dreams before i had one specific goal. i wanted to be an archaeologist, a detective, and an artist (painter). but now, i want to work for UNICEF.

How old are you? I'm 54 and my sister is 53 and the last time we were together we told each other that we were waiting to see what we were going to be when we grew up. Don't get me wrong we are not deadbeats, she's an editor and I'm a self employed artist and we get along just fine but for the most part I think our ambition in life has just been to avoid the 9-5 job, march to our own drummer, enjoy living and see that we help along the people we meet. I think it is a "bill of goods" that our school system demands that we have a "plan of action" for our next 45 years when we graduate high school. Some of us are comfortable getting there by taking a direct route on the Interstate and some of us really enjoy seeing what all of the winding backroads have to offer.

OMG i am to i'm just going to start college in the fall and i know i don't need to declare what i want to do but just thinking about it is stressing me out. ive already asked this kind of question and i got that i should research things that i think are interesting and go from there.

i would like to work as an animal hero in pheonix arizona like on animal planet. and if not that than i would like to own my own animal shelter. i will make sure it is safe, clean, secure, and very confering for animals. I dont think i can handle the putting to sleep though. :(
