In our country (USA) filled with bigotry, hate, idealism, and waste, can there ever be a real understanding?

Can we or will we ever be willing to understand each other?

Only if people can get over their ignorance, and be enlightened.

And only if people can stop thinking that they are more important or in some way better than other people - once we can all treat each other with the same amount of respect -we might be able to come to an understanding.

Yes, but before that happens people have to realize that such behaviors are wrong and not just make believe that thats how things have to be.
