Absolutely. Dogs and cats have feelings and emotions. They also have a conscience. When your dog or cat does something wrong and you chastise it, it knows it has done wrong. We have 4 that are waiting for us when we get to heaven.

I don't believe they go to heaven because they do not have a soul, although they are creatures created by God. I do believe that He makes special provisions for them when they die. Especially if they have been good and faithful pets or met with some tragic death. I like to think that my kitties will experience some type of heaven or utopia when they die. I believe that only man was created with a soul and that we are created in the image of God. However, God created everything that inhabits the earth, so I believe that He has a special plans for those lives as well.

I think not. I'm a christian so the bible doesn't say anything that pets go to heaven. But, I sure wish they did! I love cats and dogs.

Well they don`t have a soul, but there will be a new Heaven and a New earth, and the Holy Scriptures tell us that the lamb will lie down with the lion (peaceably) . However, we may not be sure about where those animals will come from.

Animals were not made to go to heaven. So, no.
I think that only people can go to heaven.

I think so. I hope I get to see my deceased pets when I go to heaven! Isn't there a children's cartoon movie "All Dogs go to Heaven"? :)

Well would it be heaven, if people didn't have their pets with them. I don't believe in a heaven, so no problem, but if you do, then it has to be with your pets.
If God made mankind, he made all the animals too.
