You can get plastic owls and hawks to scare them off.

Get a stuffed owl decoy (12"-18") and place it in tree where it will be visable to the birds.. They will avoid becoming its next meal. You should be able to get one at any large sporting goods store, e.g., Bass Pro Shops, Cabelas, etc..

Hang aluminum pie tins throughout your garden or a cheap substitute is foil or buy one of those fake owls and put it in the garden

well get like a wind chime or something that moves or makes noice that will take care of the little boogers
or mor traditionally use a scarecrow!!
