There was this cheeseball "ABC Night At The Movies"-type flick called "Night of the Scarecrow". Bargain-basement production values, a guy gets dropped into a ginormous woodchipper (years before Fargo), someone gets suffocated in a feed silo. Scared the shmilkiss out of me when I was a boy. Loooong before Jeepers Creepers, I was taking second glances at every scarecrow I saw when I was a kid.

A long time ago I used to be afraid of The Nightmare On Elm Street movies...I was afraid of going to sleep, thinking Freddy Kruger was going to come into my dreams and kill me while I slept....while I still like the movies....I am in no way scared of them now...haven't found a scary movie yet that really "scares the crap out of me" since then...or one that is even mildly scary....The Exorcism Of Emily Rose is the only scary movie so far that I've seen that I like only because it's based on true events and I like the religious aspect of it......now days the term "scary movie" is totally over rated.....thanks for asking the question and for the two points!

Both Tales From The Dark Side, I was utterly freaked out by those movies and thought that roaches would come through my sink and eat me alive! Now I see that this probably won't happen and Stephen King is still alive.

I was terrified of Children of the Corn, it took me about six tries just to get past the meat grinder part, now it just seems so cheaply made. I was also terrified of Pumpkin Head. I loved scary movies then and still do now. I still look over my shoulder after a really scary one.

Definitely Stephen King's IT. That movie scared the crap out of me. It took me over 10 years before I walk around without my back up against a wall or something. Damn clown.

The movie was called "Blood Feast" not so much scary as nasty and gross, about a a guy who cut up people for his restaurant or catering business. It was old movie done in 60's. He had out pulled this lady's tongue, and it had round ball at the end of it and I puked after seeing it.
