Anger is an emotion, not a source of behavioral manipulation. It may be one of many reasons that an individual attempts to manipulate another's behavior, but it's not an all-encompassing source.

First, anger is an emotion that you feel, it is not a behavior. If you want to be able to deal effectively with the emotion, anger, you first have to recognize that it is a normal emotion that is in response to you thinking that someone has hurt you or wants to harm you in some way. Then you have to use effective communication to check to see if your thoughts are correct. If you think that you can control others by things people associate with the feeling, anger: like yelling, shaking your fist, getting in some one face; then you may get your way (controlling others), but you will end up making yourself miserable.

Anger has made me do some stupid things, but I think most people learn to control their anger. I guess some people's behavior is controlled by emotion and some by analytical thinking without emotion.

Oh Yea, I live with an extremely uncontrollable anger issued person, more than life can explain. I've decided that if I let that person get angry, then that's up to them. What makes it sad is that they make themselves look bad. and that everything is our fault, not there's, but in turn we can give them the power of allowing them to continue with such behavior, put them on time-out.

If you are asking if your anger controls others; it can if they allow it to. But, the big answer is that if you allow someone to anger you, then they control you.
