You have to either have one of two situations happen: either you have an initial attraction to the looks and realize the person is smart and that is even more sexy, or you get to know someone better and over time they become sexier and more attractive in your eyes.
Also, being smart doesn't make you a nice person and being really good looking doesn't make you a mean person, you have to go with what your heart says.
Loving someone clears away the minor details and you need a whole package of strengths and weaknesses.

Ideally both. Brains win out for me though because how hot someone is will never amount to anything in the end if you can't stand who they are. We all lose our looks at some point anyway so the most important thing is being able to get along and love one another.
That being said though; brains can only make up for so much. You could be the most wonderful person in the world but if you weigh 160 lbs or more (as a woman) it ain't gonna happen. If you're going to be with someone you need to be able to be attracted to them also. It goes beyond looks also. I'm attracted to people that care enough about themselves to keep in shape.
Also, I think men are instinctively more attracted to women that are in good shape. Their instincts drive them towards women that will have strong genes for their children. This has been studied believe it or not. It doesn't mean men will wind up with the best girl. It just means they have a preference that goes beyond what they were raised to think or believe.

Brain first looks second because a pretty face may look good on the outside but somebody who acts childish could get you into trouble.

If I have to choose I'd go with Brain- Looks are relatively unimportant in the long run- brains means they wouldn't be dumb about their health though- so you have a guarantee on hygiene and general maintenance

I can't have both :( The I would have to be shallow and say looks because unfortunately if I'm not physically attracted to someone the brains part doesn't matter.

~~in answer to your question Looks or Brains, i would have to say a Godly individual with Integrety and honesty above either of the two choices put before me, and the last thing on the list of qualities would be looks, because that is just the outward appearance, and no matter how good looking they are on the outside, if their inside isnt good they are not going to be attractive.~~

Definitely someone with brains, because when looks fade, you will still be able to have great conversations.
