i would say the southeastern states like the carolinas,,georgia then swing around to alabama.but what is an accent to one is normal to another. i was born and raised in southern cailornia..i don't have an accent. my hubby was born and raised in indiana,,he's got an accent..we moved out here 18 yrs ago and no ****..everywhere i go people ask ME what kind of accent i have..i'm not the one that says''rot'' for ''right'' !!!!

Texas is pretty heavy too. And Alabama. The midwest states are the states with the LEAST accent; that's why so many newscasters are from Minnisota and Iowa.

Probably northern Mexican states such as Chihuahua or Baja California
