I'm looking for a laptop that has enough stuff to play mostly the sims 2 and all of its expansion packs.

look at the min requirements for your game, then double them. then you will know you have a laptop that should run the programs with out problems. Don't look only at name brand, I bet alot of people that don't know jack about computers will come on here and say get a dell, ****** ay the name don't mean jack! its the guts that matter.

i hate how people think just because it says alienware they think it's good for games... look at the specs! you what a AMD that runs at around 2GHZ and at least 512mb cache, or 3.0ghz Intel.
a video card that has at least 64mb vram.
and 5400rpm hard drive at least at 60gb, 15 in screen, 512mb at least RAM you should use 1gb and if you can 2.
that should be around 1000 bucks. and voodoopc has way better computers then alienware even thought it cost way more. Go to ibuypower.com it's cheap there.

I just recently bought a Compaq V2000Z. 2.2Ghz, 60G HD, ATI200M mobile Graphics. 2 USB and video ports for under $900 and it plays World of Warcraft excellantly.

Alienware comps and laptops were designed for gaming, but theyre pretty pricey. . .

a laptop from alienware. Their graphics and speed are amazing/ You can buy them from bestbuy or the alienware website.
