All of a sudden for some reason these random people are sending me friend requests. A lot are musicians. I don't know why they are coming, but I want them to stop. What can I do?

Go into your account setting and click privacy settings then you can check the box that says ppl have to know your email or last name to add you.

So like if they're a musician, they might be in a band so like go to your account settings and go to privacy settings. There you will see a "Block Friend Request From Bands" setting and click on the box next to that one that puts a checkmark on it. Than that will block all the bands from adding you. But if they're not in a band, well put your profile to private so that only your friends can see it. But I'm not sure exactly how to help you but hopefully that helps you out.

Go to your account settings. Under privacy, you can pick "Require email or last name to add me as a friend" or "Block Friend Request From Bands" Both will cut down your requests :)

i put a note on my page to not be offended if i didn't accept those requests that I was just there to keep up with old friends.
Now I don't feel bad for just deleting them, not that I did before.

yeah they send random friend requests to get more friends. see your account is open to anyone in the world! so its the usual thing..u just have to delete them everytime they request!

all the bands are just trying to promote themselves. they just pick random people, based on their interest in music. there should be an option where you can block band friend request. just go to account settings.

nothing you can do...even if you make your page private they can still request ...just dont "reject" when they send you a request keep it in your pending request(by doing nothing it gets in there) and if they try and send you another request it will say "request pending" and it wont go through to you
