I am not looking for any charged liberal vs. conservative slamming here. It is a simple question, demanding a simple response. Remember, your answer must be kept to naming a benefit that the common American now has that the current administration has provided. It cannot be an old benefit. There is one restriction: NCLB doesn't count. I am a math teacher, and there are goods and bads with NCLB, but the jury is still out regarding which outweighs the other!

I look forward to your response! Thank you for your time!

tax cuts...

fight terrorism on their front. He's thwarted 5 (from my count) bombs or other devices coming into the US through both sides of the country. he has successfully been tracking the terrorist fund transfers which was the main reason we were able to catch the Bali bombers...

Economy.. He picked up a declining economy and worked his first year on Clinton's budget. within 2 years, Interest rates were at their lowest...jobs were rising steadily, unemployment was way down (competing with his predecesor's numbers).

Even though there is a lot to not like, he is a decisive president who is not driven by polls. When decisive people act, thier acts are largely scrutinized...which is why you don't see this president spending the amount of money on Polling to the degree that his predecesor did.

I got a job because of Bush's tax cuts.

The company I work for was created from tax cuts and now we employ 68 people (so far) in my locality.

My dad also expanded his business 4 fold and hired 8 electricians to work under him, and as such was able to purchase a good health plan for everyone and give them all discounts.

This was all due to the Bush tax cuts. Thank you, El Presidente.

PS-In response to G-
MY DAD IS JUST AN ELECTRICIAN. He lives in a trailer (although he could afford a house, he would rather have the cash for saving, bless his soul.)

I am not rich. I drive a 600 dollar car, Ok.

He employed 8 blue collar electricians!!!!! The tax cuts gave him more write offs for vans, in order to allow his employees to transport materials.

Oh yeah, SHAME ON HIM!

Jesus!

Cheney sot somebody....the first guy in the white house with the balls to do that. And we lowered taxes and have begun the process of eliminating terrorism. There are plenty of thing that have been done but no one can think of them because the media doesn't report them. The media only reports the negatives; thus we don't hear any good things Bush does and we are all so determined to hate him we just don't care what he has done.

He has simulated the economy by giving tax cuts and rebates. I got my rebate and I was making well under 30k/year at the time - I was certainly not "rich."

When people are free to spend more of their money, the economy naturally picks up steam, because the economy is inherently so dependent on the flow of cash through the general public.

I'm still waiting for that "good thing" I will say I'm getting a charge out of watching these "better than the rest of you" people driving their big gas guzzling vehicles having to dig a little deeper in their pockets at the gas pump.

do no longer forget that 0.5 of unlawful immigrants by no ability had to sneak around the border. They got here legally with tourist visas yet then ignored to pass decrease back residing house. the only thank you to end that variety of unlawful immigration is to make it a lot harder to pass to as a tourist. of course, which would be undesirable for the economic device in view that tourism equals massive dollars. i'm no longer asserting I consider amnesty or that we could desire to continually basically settle for unlawful immigration. of course we could desire to continually no longer. basically asserting it is an fairly, very complicated component to sparkling up.

... some will say "have we been attacked again?"... a statement that has no factual basis...

... some will say "tax cuts"... well no thanks, I'll give you back the hundred bucks if you take back the war and deficit...

that's about all they got, for the most part

Catherine L: tax cut that allowed a business to expand 4 fold!... well, I guess I'm just not wealthy enough to see the fruits of Bush's policies... as is the majority of America...
