At the 2001 World Youth Championships held in Argentina,Ghana beat Brazil 2:1.Therefore I don't understand why some think Brazil is going to run over Ghana on Tuesday.

Ghanaians are the youngest team in WC, they are very fast and can run for 90 minutes. And the Brazilian defenders like Cafu 7 Carlos are slow & old.....but then again Brazil has tooo much experience.

This is another brazil lineup altogether. That was world youth championship and this is fifa world cup. If ronaldihno was in that so called youth championship you would be saying something different now. Anyway i am for ghana. It is just that their chances are so slim cos it is a knock out stage and michael essien wont be there that means already their midfield is killed as he is a great player. Keep in mind if ghana scores its first goal don't celebrate wait until the game is over and ghana is leading. Best of luck on Tuesday. As for me its a must watch game.

I personally believe that Ghana can beat Brazil,
Gyan Asamoah, and Sammi Muntari are back in the squad, but Michael Essien is missing this game,
With Brazils current form, Ghana has an very good chance of advancing to the next round
again it will be 2-0 Ghana

Its sports! Anything can happen. Look at the Red Sox beating the Yankees from 3 down in the series or the Texas Longhorns winning the national championship. I love the great stories of the underdogs. I'll be cheering for Ghana. They can do it too.

I am amazed to see how many people just jump on the World Cup band wagon and think they know all their is to know about soccer. They really don't know much about the many great players and teams that are out there in the world of soccer.
NO Brazilians are not the only ones who can play!
To win you have to be good but you also have to be lucky!! VERY LUCKY!! One bad game and your out! Even 1 bad call can ruin a game. As a soccer player and as a soccer fan i have seen a lot of crap and just plain luck decide games and even championships.

Well its possible, anything is possible really. You are talking about Youth Championships 5 years ago where Ronaldo, Cafu, and Roberto Carlos weren't playing. You add them into the equation and all of a sudden Brazil looks dangerous.

Because the 2006 Brazil isn't the 2001 youth team. and the youth team didn't have Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Kaka, Dida, Roberto Carlos and everyone else.
