I say Migraine. A migraine can go away. That way if someone sees you out of the house from work, you can say that the migraine has lessened, or that you are out looking for medication. If you call in with food poisoning, and someone sees you out of the hosue, then they'll know you weren't sick....lol...I haven't seen too many people with food poisoning who could be very far from the toilet!

They can ask for a doctors note or proof of your illness if they find you have been taking to much time off!! With severe food poisoning you would be given an IV drip of glycine for the dehydration which happens if you throw up to much and can't hold things down!! Why go to all this trouble for a few days off?? Just call them and say your not feeling well and you'll call when your ready to come back????

Food poisoning absolutely. More believable unless you have a history of migranes. The best way to do it is set your alarm for like 3am and call in then and leave a message. Say something like you've been sick all night and are just now getting to bed. You'll even sound sick cuz you'll have just woken up! I've done it a time or two, works like a charm!

Migraine.
Food poisoning implies bad food hygiene & sloppy habits

Definitely food poisoning!! No one wants to hear details on your diarrhea, and you don't have to get a Dr's note, because food poisoning passes within a day or so! Happy poisoning!

Go with the migraine. You will get too many questions with the food poisoning. Where did you eat? What did you order? etc.

Probably food poisoning... it sounds worse, and the effects seem to more strongly warrant a call off whereas a migrane is just a really, really bad headache. When you say food poisoning, you automatically think throwing up and sitting on the pot all day!

which have u not done before? do the other...

do u have a history of migranes (meaning have u used this one), if so the boss may think u really are sck or is just lying again.

with poisoning, u gotta be out of work for days 'cuz it doesn't go away quickly. If u show up 100% the next day, he knows u lied.

Neither. Go to a medical website look for a disease with some clever sounding name. Phone up work and describe the symptoms. When you go back to work fill in the sick form with the flash name, they'll assume you couldn't possibly make that up. Never fails.
