A democrat. His father Joe Sr. hated republicans. Did you know that a majority of the Kennedy family don't like Arnold Schwarzenegger because he is a republican?

Jfk Republican Or Democrat

Technically a Democrat, but his actions would make one question if he was a Republican.

I wonder why the Democrat majority congress locked up the files for 75yrs. And if the Dems truly support the African-Ams, why did a higher percent of Repubs vote for Kennedy Civil Rights Bills?

What else was Kennedy working on that was established by Democrat Woodrow Wilson???

He was a Democrat. BUT if he were alive today, he would not only be a Republican but he would be vilified by the Democrats. He was fiercely opposed to communism, a devout Catholic, wanted a strong dollar, low spending, tax cuts, individual responsibility and the free enterprise system -- he would have to join the republican party if he were alive today.

Democrats today would be offended by Kennedy's statement, "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country."

He was a registered democrat and won the presidency as a democrat. I'm sure like most politicians; the party mattered little. What was important was getting in the white house.

Republicans will never like Ron Paul because that would require them to actually look up the problems and try to fix them instead of listening to Fox news and believing them
