I think Side 1 is slightly stronger.
A lot of the teams on side 1 are playing very good football, whereas some of the teams on side 2, have struggled through round robin (even Brazil to some extent)

I would argue that Side 1 is stronger, but then again I would argue that Italy probably has the easiest road to get to the semifinals. The top half of Side 2 is probably the most competitve, as you could easily see any of the four (England, Netherlands, Portugal, and, yes, even Ecuador) getting to the semis. Brazil probably, on paper, has the easiest Round of 16 match, but then would have to face either Spain or France (I'm banking on Spain).
No one's going to have a cakewalk to the finals, as it seemed happened in 2002 with both Brazil and Germany.

Side 2 definately, only good teams on side 1 are argentina, germany and italy,

Argentina already had to face Netherlands, and Germany Italy and Argentina have to eliminate each other. That means that Brazil wont even have to face two of those powerhouses.
Check it whichi is harder Japan, Australia or Netherlands, Serbia / CIV? Gimme a break..Plus who's brazil playing the weakest one of the side 2 Ghana. Please.

Side 2 is tougher. I wouldn't want to be on Side 2
