Look.I am probably not the most fashionable guy out there, i dress for personal comfort, , but how do these things get started? if you are a guy who does this, it's your choice, but i'll be laughing at you!

Yes you are right, just because someone is odd, doesnt make them a criminal, on that point, I regress, But so many people seem to do things because of peer pressure, and the media, robots and sheep!

The other day I was sitting at a traffic light and two young men were crossing the road (no this is not a joke). They were trying to run and beat the light and their pants kept falling down. I laughed so hard, I cried. They looked like penguins trying to run and hold their pants up at the same time. I once asked one of my teenager's friends if he thought looking like Stringbean from HeeHaw was really cool. He never wore his pants that way again.

The lowered pants thing was 'in' when I was younger. It was a big deal to make the guy look cool like back in junior high and high school. But now that I'm in college it makes a guy look very immature to have the saggy pants. In fashion terms, its time pull up the pants because the trend is old. I think thats why some pants styles now are baggier, but the waist line of the pants isn't hanging down anymore.

Personally, I must be showing my age. I am not impressed with many of the new fashions. Why does a guy practically have to have his pants hang halfway down his bum to look cool? I just think it looks dumb.

No. I have no idea how this got started but some one needs to pull up their pants and super glue them in that position, or give them away to a person that they would actually fit. What is the point of this? No one likes to see the plumbers crack and no one wants to see what these boys have! Grow up!

Well, to them it is. It's a style... a way of being, I suppose. Just how theirs "Emo Guys" who wear tight girl jeans, we have the "Ghetto" people who wear the baggy jeans. It's the style... leave it at that. It's bad to assume that all guys who wear baggy jeans are in trouble with the law. Come on now.
Do I think it looks cool? Well, it really depends on who is wearing their pants "way down". Some people over do it... I've seen guys who just about have their jeans down to their knees. Yes, that looks very stupid. Wannabes' look stupid too.... some one trying to be what their not.
But, I must admit.... some guys look good doing it. Bad boys, eh? They look good. haha

First of all, I don't like the assumptions you make in your question. If you don't care for the style don't wear it, but why slam those who do?
To answer the question, this style looks uncomfortable to me, but I am not silly enough to think that my taste in clothing is for everyone. I am sure that I look more than unfashionable to most people; but what does it matter?

There is nothing wrong with wearing pants down, ear rings or tattoos. Its a good method by which the public can identify stupid people.

It depends on what they're wearing. If its the jeans that go way below the knees, that "fasion" disgusts me and just looks stupid indeed. But if its the sweatsuit pants that go down, oh my god that is hott.

no, they look really stupid. and the cops will probably go for them because they just look like their carrying something heavy. to cause the pants around the ankles look, like drugs or guns!

look to me like they are so poor they had to get hand me downs from a older brother that was bigger then them, some how this became a fashion.
