They're bored. They are trying to help. They are nervous, especially since their main man, "W," seems to be such a weasel and deal-breaker.

I welcome them to the virtual tea party.

People do not, for the most part, know how to think for themselves, nor do they understand true inspiration when they are receiving it, so they look for answers from outside themselves. The Bible, for the most part, is a ridiculous book; continually contradicting itself yet claiming to be the "one and only truth". Take the Old Testament for example ... Oh my God! the God in these stories is truly a sadistic, jealous, petulant, inconsistent, vengeful, hateful racial bigot. Seems like he kills for sport or out of boredom. Not only that, he orders others to do the killing for him most of the time, just like Charley Manson! Yet, these so called "bible thumpers" try to explain that this God is the same God as God the father, who appears in the New Testament. Really? What happened? Prozac? Lexapro? X?
Anyone with true love in their hearts cannot possibly reconcile this God, Old or New Testament, with Unconditional Love.

Religion gives them a sense of worth and meaning in life. They must have no other reason to live and then they find God and it changes their outlook on life and they become hooked. Kind of like a drug. Thats my opinion anyways... they personally annoy the hell outa me...

God only knows, lol and yes there are way to many of them on here. Shouldn't the be studying the good book, instead of annoying the rest of us.
I blame it all on Bush and his conservative cohorts.

Some would find that insulting, I find that such remarks come from narrow minded people. religion means a lot to many of us.
