well...as a few people have pointed out its because generally most other studies are MEN's studies. its nice to have a little space for us. although i do wish bloody men would stop coming onto the women's studies especially to type their favourite 1 liner....

2 seconds before i saw your question i was thinking that and looked for the male studies men i think this site maybe run by women and we cant let on that were just as clueless about the oposite sex sometimes lol yet by provising help for men its an atempt to make our lives easyier xx

Men's study is the default. Every other subject is men's study..

Because women think they are oppressed and therefore deserve to have a special section of academics devoted to their incessant whining. They're wrong.

Because history shows that women have been deprived of a lot i.e. voting, education etc, etc. I cant think of anything that men were deprived of because of their gender.
