Everyone needs to understand that if you want out,, then get yourself together and get out without relying on another person to make that decision for you or "take care of you". It's just much more legitimate to do it the right way rather than create a bigger mess involving more people.

Marty,, why not leave because of all the issues,, I am not saying stay in a bad relationship,, just asking why people don't leave without finding another person to go to while still in the marraige. That is what I am talking about.

Cheating is betrayal in any relationship. Betrayal is a loss of trust in another person for cheating. Should two people divorce?
A man and wife are the only ones who can answer that. It's a matter of trust and trust like that broken can take a long time sometimes years to get back. It's not easy. I don't think it's always grounds for divorce, I think the marriage needs to get back to basics and start over and the two people involved are really the only ones that can decide the fate of the marriage.
Divorce is such an easy way out when things don't go your way, or you don't get what you want. It's a cop out. Marriage is about hard times and growing from those hard times together to make you stronger. Sure you will hate each other at times and even hurt one another, but that's the test of the relationship. People today are so self absorbed with taking care of themselves and their things. Take care of each other. You should already have it together when you married unless you decieved the other person.
What a shame to hear such selfishness. It's really sad.
Hey, but on the bright side it keeps the divorce rate up and lawyers wealthy.

People who cheat to get out of marriages are usually low self esteem people. They are afraid to end the marriage and then can't find another partner and therefore have to look for one first before ending the old relationship. But there are also people who should never get married due to their adventurous personality. No matter how good of a relationship they're in, they still will cheat when ever they can.

there are many people who would never cheat and then there are the others! some people are just devious - it is unfortunate that it is almost becoming acceptable to cheat. Very much agree that it creates alot of pain and turmoil for those involved. Cheating is a very selfish cowardly and immature act. It is hard to respect someone that would cheat on someone who loves them.

the people who do wrong things are basically insecure.Men show their best behaviour for the few hours they meet.their fiancees.There is less responsibility in a new relationship. Insecure people get stressed and they end their marriage, with a low-stress relationship.That is cheating for you

i married young . it took two yrs to realize BIG MISTAKE by that time i realized she had issues i could not deal with. too late.now i have two kids .so i stayed for them. when i felt they were old enough i told their mom i wanted a divorce. SHE REPLIED--- that's nice dinners ready.it took 13yrs to decide enough is enough.she has munchausen / munchausen by proxy.very possesive.no regaurd for money. no will to work.even after buying her four educations and on top pf that she went from 125 at wedding to 380 at divorce.CHEATING! if your in a burning house and the only way out is a flame covered door-------go for the door or die!

I dont think people cheat to "end a marriage",..they cheat because of opportunity and attraction. the results are the divorce thing. people are weak and unforgiving creatures.
