I don't think anyone wanted either team to lose.They were both goin for their maiden title and so no one minded. It was good for the sport to have a new champion, as it would be boring and the sport would lose it's appeal. If you asked most people they either hate or love Shaq,so that would be a major factor.However nobody can resist watching Wade play.His Michael Jordan-esque performances were awesome.Tho Nowitzki also played well for the Mavs.
This is what people pay to watch.Close matches that aren't a fore-gone conclusion even before a ball is touched.As someone from England who's quality and level of play is nowhere near NBA standards, I have no overall favourite team and often support the underdogs. I say more of it and don't care as long as its entertaining and exciting and not predictable

Mostly wanted the Heat to win, but kinda wanted the Mavs to win also just to see David Stern hand the trophy to Mark Cuban.
