Diamonds can make you feel really good if they are given to you as a token of love.
I wanted to make my lady feel special so I researched to find out about diamonds so I could make the right choice.
The upshot was when I presented the engagement ring, a beautiful pear solitaire just under 3 cts with perfect cut proportions, very good clarity and colour (white to the eye).
When I gave here the ring she burst into tears, she was so overwhelmed. At first I thought I had done something wrong but soon realised what an effect the ring had - she now looks at the ring and thinks back to that moment.
So, are diamonds a girl's best friend, my answer is they are if they come from the guy you love.
PS - buy your diamonds through reputable companies, there are some good ones on the web. I used bestdiamonds.co.uk. The service was amazing and (for the guys) the prices are so much cheaper than the high street.

Diamonds are just rocks. At some point in time, Man determined that diamonds are valuable rocks. Therefore, diamonds are rocks that cost a lot of money. Today, Americans tend to place the value of love on the size of the rock. Now how silly is that?
Think about rocks in terms of art or literature. Who determines whether or not a painting is a hobby or art? Who determines whether or not a novel is literature or should be reserved for the “common” people (which BTW is called POPULAR)? Who determined that a diamond is a valuable rock? I don’t know the answers, but I do know that if the public suddenly determined that the diamond was not valuable and stopped buying them, eventually they would not be valuable.
I love flowers, so I am much more happy with the rocks in my flower bed that I found on various vacations than I could ever be with a diamond. And they did not cost me anything!
If diamonds are a girl's best friend, then that girl must be mighty lonesome. Common friends are more abundant and accessible than those that glitter.

Diamonds are great but a girls best friend should really be herself. Self confidence is the best thing to carry with you. When you believe in yourself everyone will be attracted to you for all the right reasons.

NOPE!! most diamonds come out of africa. in the ancient days they were so abundant that africans decorated with them. the white man who did not have diamonds in his native cold europe found them in africa and they became rich off of them. they pay africans pennies to dig them up. and the white man laughs all the way to the bank. its the white mans favorite friend even more so than his god oops "dog".
