My mom loves them (shes 53) and is going to see them in concert with Barbara Striesand. She doesn't like Barb but she is paying the $200 just to see Il Divo. All I know about them is they have some type of connection to Simon Cowell. I think it would be a good gift because a lot of 50 year olds I know like them. But the woman might like them more than the man. I guess it just depends on the people!

I'm pretty sure a 50 year old couple is about the precise demographic for Il Divo.

Well ya know, it's not uncommon for a 50 year old couple these days, to wanna rock! so find out if they'll like this music first , then i guess it would be a great idea.

I saw them in concert in Oberhausen in Germany, they were great. Not sure if they would appeal to a 50 year old couple, they are considered Opra/Pop music, and might older people might not like their music

My 53 year old mother saw them recently and she loved it. I guess it just depends on the couple though. The Mr. might prefer baseball tickets :)
