Theo - Ex Southampton footballer, he hasnt played for Arsenal yet, will probably only come on, if England have a good comfortable lead around 75-80 minutes into the game, if we are at this stage 3-4 nil up, yes, I think Lennon and Walcott will come on in place of Beckham and, if hes playing as bad as he has done so far, probably Lampard.

Yes, if only because he's there and because you can't seriously expect to win anything with only two strikers. When Sven put Walcott in the squad, I thought he's suddenly dropped his "safe but boring" image. Now he's scared to use him so what was the point. I think he should be brought on for the last half hour of the Ecuador match whatever the score. Like Rooney, he's got the pace to run at and scare the oposition. However, Rooney will probably be tired by then. Sven should show us why he had such faith in an untried 17 yr old.

HELL NO!!

i dont understand why he is even on the team, when there are world class strikers like Jermain Defoe, and Darren Bent

I think this is just a publicity stunt in favor of Arsenal,

Their just gona sell him after the world cup for 2x's as much as they bought him for!!

I really hate Arsenal

GO GHANA 2-1 against Brazil

we dont have an option, you dont take a 17 year old kid to the world cup if he isnt good enough. this boy is asuperb talent , an unknown quantity for opposing teams and most supporters in england. those of us who have seen him play know hes got great feet attacks at speed, quickest man at the world cup ? if you saw him play last season you will agree he should have gone and played left mid as coles understudy not up front. but hes there now , if we dont use him we will never know.

yes otherwise why take him..i think Sven will bring him on against Ecuador if we are winning comfortably...but that wont happen lol so no i don't think he will play...but i don't think it will matter because we are going to get our goals from the mid-field...i mean how many chances does lampard need? he has to get one in sooner or later.and we all know what Gerrard is capable of.

20 minutes before the end of the game to give Wayne a breather.

I think Sven is having doubts, because Englad have been luvky, and is now on the knockout round, he is worried about him especially with no experience.

Why not let him pick the team, what with all his football experience he could do a better job than Sven.
