yo, its possible to be over qualified, and noone wants to hire an overqualified dude cos theres a risk factor involved, im not going to go into detail. also employers dont solely look for the best grades, thats ridiculous, they look for people who are cool and can get along with others, who can work in a team, people with more than just a degree.no one wants to do business with an arrogant overqualified ****, u know? im young but i study this, and employers are after not the best grades, but the easy to get along with people, with things in common, and an arts degree along with your major, cos it shows youve been trained to think on different levels and look at elements from different views.
also worthy of note, people judge on appearance, sad but true, and good looking people have an advantage, as theyre good for the image of the firm. u may want to work on this if its a problem

Could it be that you're too cocky? Your accomplisments are impressive, but employers are looking for someone that will get along well with the rest of the staff and it sounds like you have a rather large ego.

I had trouble getting a job too, despite my qualifications. I ended up "dumbing down" my resume a bit in order to get an entry level position at a company I really wanted to work for. Within 18 months I had the position I wanted, after two internal promotions. It is important to get your foot in the door.

Try applying to companies that are not advertising situations. Go in to the interview with a good knowledge of the company, and a good attitude (ie not too full of yourself.) The job will come - maybe from somewhere you least expect it.

Good luck, don't give up, and let EVERYBODY know that you are looking for work! Word of mouth travels far and fast.

certainly. you're actually not by myself. Even in massive general businesses, there are crammed with backstabbers and incompetent team who're good at generating little yet flattering the boss in any respect time. My recommendation is which you start to grow to be a mentor (by expert commerce physique) to steer a million-2 apprentice. Make it actual good and prepare human beings properly at the same time with your professionalism. Later you could connect some academic institute to be an element-time lecturer / instructor by which includes the mentor journey as a good coaching journey. From there, you would be greater happy to produce greater high quality tradesmen for the subsequent era. It will pay truly good as an instructor. i'm particular that your journey stand out and have no subject to alter your occupation course that way.
