Why the US dont invade them, that guy is a threat for USA !!

North Korea is a threat. Yet the USA will use diplomacy to solve this possible future worry. Also there is concerned about Iran developing nuclear weapons. North Korea's weapons aren't nuclear yet, however, they are long range missles capable of traveling thousands of miles, and possibly enough strength to reach the West Coast. Yet North Korea listens to the Chinese and it's up to the USA to convince the Chinese to keep North Korea calm.

The USA to invade North Korea will end up in a long bloody war. During the Korean War in the 1950s, 50,000 American soldiers were killed in three years of combat. A war today could push that number a lot higher because North Korea most likely would fight head on and not use guerilla warfare.

And the USA can't throw missles at them because of North Korea close ties to China.

So where's the European countries in this matter? It seems like they are not a target of North Korea, so they have no reason to get involved in this dispute.

We don't invade them because our entire military capacity is tied up in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Yes, he's going to fire the missle; he fueled it up yesterday. A missle of that nature can't be fueled and easily DE-fueled. You can probably expect it to be launched over the weekend.

Please remember that Clinton was near an agreement with Kim Jong Il of North Korea, and when Geo. W. took office, he defocused the North Korean issue and refused to discuss the situation with them.

he might launch but historically they make a big fuss and threats to get favorable negotiations.

if they do launch I bet it wouldn't be far and into the sea, if they fire at another nation with there one shot it would be suicide.

oh and the reason we don't invade is there military is quite powerful and has the backing of the vary powerful Chinese, and in many cases even the Russians would be there allies, this would set off WW III and I don't know about you but I don't want to see another world war.

We've been in Korea since I believe 1950. The Korean confict has never ended. Its just a cease fire. Our troops are already there. Why invade? Let them start it. We'll finish it.

i think they WILL launch the missile, but not aimed at the US.

They want the publicity of the launch and the that the US is worried about their missile as publicity, so they can sell the missile technology to other countries or groups.

He might launch it. So far nothing the US has said has deterred him from completing the program. However, if he does, we also might shoot it down.
