Because they are sad, petty, jealous people and you should pity them and continue enjoying the blessings of your life and not waste your precious time on them.

i dont think it is about jealousy or disappointment at all could it be that maybe you are just shallow and you cannot see that life is happening all around you someone may be struggling for a meal while you snack on lamb chops they might dislike you because you don't see any thing or anybody that is not like why do wealthy people assume it is about the money? no it is about the ability to know that you were blesses financially and to not take things for granted. be grateful and a little humility goes a very long way.

Because misery loves company. Misery is like a disease, it can be very contagious expecially if the person who has it is spreading it.
And the term called crab mentality which is another term for jealousy. Observe crabs in a basket, when all of them are all trying to climb up some of the crabs will nudge other crabs till they fall.
Alleviation of the self and of course Ego pampering. They want to soothe the wounded ego so they spread lies about other people in order to make themself feel better.

It isn't hate anyway even they said it. They just hate themselves of not getting thing or life better the way you do. But their heart can't take the blame because they are too afraid to face that. Jealousy may be a little. Believe me, many times they may sit down alone somewhere wishing that they have what you have.

because when you have things better than others you see that. on the other side of the coin they also see your good fortune. it appears to us as jealousy but it is really an underlying wish that they had a better life. they may not even be interested in having what you have. they just want that feeling that comes with holding your head high and being proud of their life. yes its petty but i don't think you can call it true jealousy.some good advice is to not let your own good fortune cloud you ability to see through your own euphoria and see real less fortunate people.for get the petty ones but help the misfortuned ones if you can.

Isn't it a shame that people do this? What is so wrong with being truly happy for others success? I try to make it a point to do this everyday because I hope others will be happy for me when I am successful. It also depends on what you consider a good life is.

You have more going for you then they do that's why.
And they wish that they can have the samething as you
or i.I lived with bad rumors all my life to so don't feel bad
They just want what we have.everything will be just fine

Sum ppl r just made 2 b nasty, they start out tryin 2 b different and just end up being unsocialble then dont make friends or find a partner. then wen they c sum1 who's the complete opposite it cuts them up and do the only thing they're better than u at be nasty!!!

when someone spreads rumors like that, they are trying to make you feel as bad as they are.so that the two of you are equals and you are no longer above that person.that person may go so far as to make you feel worse than his or her self.it is quite ridiculous but sometimes that is the way the mind works.

Their Jealous!!! They just wish they had it going on, but they can't so instead of being happy for someone else's situation of good dealings they instead try to be " Haters " whicch ultimately makes them look bad anyways!! people will do that your whole life, just rise above it and be the adult!!!
