I run yahoo anti-spy ware and every time it removes the trojan win32.qhost.df, but this trojan always comes back.

I run other anti-spy ware and antivirus software from other companies but they do not detect it.

There is a good reason this infection keeps coming back.

There are areas of your computer that the Yahoo program cannot gain access for scan and removal. These are the hidden files and restore points. So, doing a restore to an earlier date rarely works. Usually the only thing, like this, that works is a reformat of the drive. Not necessarily a good idea.

Go to this Micosoft site and it will walk you through the proper procedure. You can use the programs she recommends and stand a good chance or removal. You can also use the Yahoo AS program following this procedure. Just use it instead. This can also be used with Anti-Virus programs. I recommend you bookmark this site if needed at another time.

If the programs above don't remove it, then try this one using the above procedure.

Try a system restore, that's what I did to get rid of the virus, W32/Alemod.f.dll and it's gone for good.
