I have never been able to get stuck into Burroughs but have enjoyed Hunter Thompson since I was about 15 and read his book about the Hells Angels. I am a lazy but constant(I will be honest) reader and I have an better time following his train of thought. Burroughs ummm.....loses me.
Why say one is better though? You are a fan of both, I enjoy reading only one of them. This doesn't make one better than the other does it?

Burroughs book Naked Lunch is certainly worth reading for anyone interested in the Beat movement of the fifties. I am sorry I am not familiar with Hunter Thompson.

Depends on if your drug of choice is heroin or LSD and cocaine. My husband prefers Hunter S Thompson. He has read all of his books.
