Hughie Jennings who played from 1891 to 1918 was hit 287 times. Craig Biggio is second with 273, but Biggio is still playing for the Astros today.

biggio will eventually hold the record for most HBP's.
i remember reading that the day after Biggio passed Tucker, his wife was hit twice by a pitch in a softball game.

I remember Ron Hunt used to wear a gigantic uniform with a shirt about 5X too big.Many times he only got hit in the flannel.
