Pilates is the best and works fast to tone your stomach muscles. You can find classes in a local gym and once you get the hang of it, you can do it on your own to maintain. Good luck!

Best ab exercise ever is flutterkicks. Learned them in the army from special forces guys. Totally flattens abs instead of bulking them, like sit ups do.
You lay out with your legs straight. Put your hands under butt to support your lower back. Lift your heels about an inch off the floor. You can just do that and hold for 10 seconds at first. Repeat about 10 times per set. 3 sets a day to start.
With the flutterkick, instead of just holding, you kick your feet in about 6-8 inch motion like swimming, alternating each leg. Kick for about 30 seconds to start. Repeat 10 times per set. 3 sets/day. Increase time with ability.
We used to have flutterkick contests... I never saw guys with more defined abs in my life.

the very same ones that every kid in america learns in phys ed class. even if you quit school in the 7th grade you should know what a situp does. if you havent learned that yet then i'd say your abs are the least of your problems.

Sit ups, crunches. Also revise your eating habits. If you're burning fat (as opposed to building muscle) try cardio. Since it's summer cardio could be fun like swimming, running, biking. stuff like that. g'luck.
