If you are going to wash that area in particular, I would use just warm water or a very, very gentle soap like Ivory or Lever. I have tried using other soaps or body washes on my private parts, and it always made me itch intensely, and sometimes even get irritated there.

I have asked that question before also and was told only water was to be used(at least that is what the gyn said.) but dove is a great choice if you do coose to wash there. I haven't had any problems. I just do not feel clean if I don't use soap.

Soap on the inside of the vulva can be irritating. You should use only water for the clitoris, labia minora, and outer vagina. Soap can go on the outside of the vuvla.
