No, not all liberals hate the United States. Frankly, if you honestly need to ask the question it's quite apparent that either: a) You pay too much attention to the media and the extremists that they give airtime or b) you haven't gotten out much lately and actually TRIED to speak nicely with a liberal. Most liberals that I know are perfectly normal people, who enjoy engaging in a bit of healthy discussion when a suitable topic arises. Not only that, they don't bite. Usually. ;p

If, on the other hand, you were trying to start some sort of controversy with his question, you probably didn't succeed. The wording is too hostile, and no reasonable person could possibly believe that all members of a particular political party could POSSIBLY have the same religion, ESPECIALLY liberals. And very few, if any, "scoff at the mention of God" - they just don't believe in Him, which you may feel is an insult but, in truth, is not.

So please, try to be a little more understanding of other people. Many of them won't reciprocate the tolerance, but most will. If we're ever going to get over the petty partisanship that's hurting us as a country, it can start with you. Or not. Your call, really. *ahem* Sorry, I'm rambling at this point. Trying to make a good finish and all that. ;p

I can't say with any degree of statistical reliability or validity that "all" liberals hate the U.S.A. and scoff at the mentioning of God, but I'd sure like to take up the research to answer your question. The correlation between liberals, "educated" or not, and hating the U.S.A. and scoffing at the mentioning of God sure appears high. God Bless you.

Absolutely untrue...all "liberals" I've ever consorted with adored the U.S., but didn't necessarily agree with its current government. A majority of people who identify as liberals in the U.S. also identify themselves as christians, so they'd be silly to scoff at the mentioning of God, now, wouldn't they?

Liberals hate anything that is good, fair and true. I'm sure that not all of them do, but yes, the vast majority do. Don't mention God, you might get reported.

The word "all" gets you; but most of the outspoken ones' do.

They don't "hate the USA" but they hate the fact they can't make it the socialist state they want. They want government to be in charge of everything and for them to be in charge of that - very scary. God gets in the way of that too; for if you must conform to a religous value you aren't conforming to their values. Again very sad.
