I'm not sure, but I hear Rob Zombie is working on it. Should be pretty good. It's a prequel to the first Halloween.

It won't be ready untill at least 2007, and since it's part of the Halloween franchise it will most likely hit theatres October 31, 2007. However, though there is no official date yet, that is the most likely candidate.
