If you are refering to the ancient Greek elements, you have the wrong four. The four elements are Earth, Water, Air, and Fire. Alchemists believed that all things are made of combining these elements in different ways, they believed that the properties of that thing depended on how much that thing had of each of these elements.
Each element has several attributions: level, elemental (a nature spirit that inhabits that level and its element and was often asked for helped when working with that element), alchemical properties, color, gemstone, and alchemical symbol.
Earth's elemental spirit is the Gnome (not the one found on front lawns) and Earth is the first level, Earth being the heaviest so when dropped from high it will fall through Air and sink through Water. Earth is the element that causes solidity in something and the more Earth in something, the drier and colder it was. Green is the color commonly associated with Earth, as is the emerald. The alchemical symbol for Earth is an pointside-down triangle with a horizontal line through it halfway down.
Water's elemental spirit is the Undine and Earth is the second level, Water being heavy enough to fall through Air as rain, but light enough to float on top of land, Earth. Water is the element that causes liquidity in something and the more Water in something, the wetter and colder it was. Blue is the color commonly associated with Water, as is the sapphire. The alchemical symbol for Water is an pointside-down triangle.
Air's elemental spirit is the Sylph and Air is the third level, Air being light enough to float above Earth and Water, but Fire is lighter, seen as lightning high in the sky. Air is the element that causes vapourousness in something and the more Air in something, the wetter and hotter it was. White is the color commonly associated with Air, as is the diamond. The alchemical symbol for Air is a point-side up triangle with a horizontal line through it halfway down.
Fire's elemental spirit is the Salamander and Fire is the fourth and highest level, Fire being lighter than Earth, Water, and Air, since it was seen high in the sky as lightning. Fire is the element that causes changeability in something and the more Fire in something, the drier and hotter it was. Red is the color commonly associated with Fire, as is the ruby. The alchemical symbol for Fire is a point-side up triangle.
Your element of Ice would be considered part Water, part Earth. It gets its wet from Water, its hardness/solidity from Earth, and is cold from both Water and Earth.

sure. there are the basics, fire is hot, water wet, ect which are key and suttle parts you should tie in to ulocking those elements. They usually come in forms that are similar..ex: a character whose "element" is fire would have a firey attitude so to speak and would be rather impulsive. Some one with a earthly or water "element" would be more tranquil. Study some fantcy that involves the harnessing of the elemnts and be aware of the similarites of each element to the weilder. All of the elements cancel each other out in some way so they can be balanced. When you combine the elements you get different thigs as well, fo instance fire and earth make lava. things like thatA combination of all four elements would conceviably be the most powerful thing ever made. I hope that helps.

one wall crimson a deep crimson, one a medium blue, one a chocolatey brown or sage eco-friendly and the final white *or like rreeeeaaaallly gentle blue* if your window seems out to love woods then make that wall the brown or eco-friendly one. in case you have a window that over seems water, make that the blue one. in case you have a window that seems over a like flat section, so u see generally sky while u seem out, make that the white one. then, for the decor of the room, have something that represents each and each element water- a fish tank, a small fountain *they sell those at backyard shops* hearth- candles, photos of fireworks, lamps that appear as if previous oil lamps or paper lanterns air-cool oriental paper followers, ...i cant think of of something for air on the 2d, yet be imaginitive earth- flora, perhaps a bonsai tree, then to your mattress, a trouble-free white bedspread yet then pillows in crimson, blue, and eco-friendly. it is a dazzling concept for a room. there are tonnns of issues you're able to do with it. i'm hoping those innovations help and robust success!

None of those are in the periodic table. Why not try mercury, lithium or osmium?
