My friend is 12 weeks pregnant and was bleeding for the first 3 weeks. The sonogram stated all is ok, but now she's having cramps and has shivers and her nails turn blue!!! Her doctor is out of reach, can you help me? we're in a rural part of the state and the next hospital is 3 hours away by car. she's not bleeding now, thougg.

Put her in the car and drive the 3 hours to the hospital!

blue nails and shivering could be a sign of not getting enough oxygen. If your friend is not getting enough then the baby is definately not getting what he/she needs. I would get her to the hospital right away.

Is she under alot of Stress or overweight before getting pregnant, its a possiblity that it was a miscarrige :( Hope everything turns out alright

I personally would go ahead and take her to emergency.
