Oh hell yeah....I remember SuperTed in his FIRST incarnation - as a set of Welsh-language picturebooks for kids. Then they got popular so exactly the same stories were printed in English too - had both sets, just to be a nerd. The cartoon series rode a big wave - got some truly impressive voice talent in - Derek Griffiths as Narrator/Ted, the late great Jon Pertwee as Spottyman (sounding kinda like Worzel Gummidge in Space), and Melvyn Hayes, of "It Ain't Half Hot Mum" and panto fame, voicing Skeleton. Completely uncynical, it was pure slightly silly fun for kids, though admittedly when Bananaman came along (also followed THAT from its beginnings as a comic strip), voiced by the Goodies and utterly anarchic, I shamelessly jumped ship.

Do you remember Spotty's sister, Dot?

I do. It was a good cartoon. The opening credits can be found online to bring back more memories. I liked Dotty more than I liked SuperTed though.

Of course!!! As Created by Mother Nature, and befriended by Spotty!

Texas Pete the baddie...

My sister and I loved. Total cult-classic for children of the 1980s! Rates up there alongside Button Moon, Rainbow, Danger Mouse, Heman, Thundercats, Ghost busters, and Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles!
