I was at one time... then I got here and it's really not bad.

At 30, I was as healthy as I had ever been and had a good job.

At 40, sex got better and my pay got better too.

At 50... (next year) sex is still better, the money ain't too bad and I don't do stupid things anymore.

Youth is wasted on the young. Kids should be born old and get younger as they get wiser.

I'm not scared of growing old I worry at times more about not growing old at all. Growing old is a gift and it can come in pretty darn helpful. As an elderly person we have more knowledge then a younger person so we can at times give some pretty good sound advice. As an elderly person we could sit ,relax, and enjoy our benifits that we've earned. We could enjoy grandchildren and the peace and quiet in our lives that we so deserve. I'm not afraid of getting old I just hope it's all really peaceful.

Yes. Im not scared of dying, but Im terrified of getting old. I just like my life right now when I am young, and I dont want to get to where I cant go running every morning, or I cant bend over and pick something up.

I am 57 yrs old and feel wonderful..Age is just a number not a curse. I do not worry about getting old. Just take good care of your health and work out. I have two grown children and 4 grandkids. Just recently divorced and now dating..I sometimes feel like a teenager again.lol

No, one reason, I'm there already, lol and when one considers the alternative, getting old, seems just right. And if you are lucky, many good things happen, besides wealth and wisdom. Most things just don't bother you as much, it's all been there, done that, sort of thing.
As I have heard, stated, "Death is natures way, of getting you to slow down"

Just a little bit. I am afraid of the being alone part. I talk to alot of old people ordering from catalogs btwn 12m and 5a. Some of them are bitter, some are crazy and some just want someone to talk to. I dont want to be like that.

Yes and no. Yes because you lose your looks, independence and sometimes your dignity or your health or mind due to dementia. No, because you gain wisdom through life experience and might stop caring about whether you've kept your looks or your mind because you just enjoy every day that you are still alive and around your family.

honestly? yes.

Not really scared of wrinkles and physical stuff.

I'm scared of starting to wear dockers and running shoes, or litening to the oldies radio station, or spending my days watching tv. I just feel that loosing and stop doing whatever makes me feel alive and young would be as bad as being dead.

and totally independant from getting married/kids or anything of that...routine, spending 80% of my week on a boring job I don't like, the fact that a week was the same as the past week and the past past week. that's scary.

No, because when you think about it the moment we are born we began to die. And also wouldn't you rather die at an old age instead of dying young.

Life gets better the older you get, you don't have all the worries you did when you were little. There is nothing to be afraid of.
