Americans, especially non-minorities, are taught this is the land of opportunity, the land of freedom, God Bless America etc. It doesn't matter that this isn't true. Most middle-class people remain middle-class; mobility is a fiction for most. As for freedom; how free are we? We have so many insane laws that the only way to combat anything is with a lawyer.

And ask the native American, the black man, the Asian how "fortunate and blessed" they are. Ask the middle-Easterners about the Americans.

Don't blame the American person, but the government and schools for the propaganda stating that it's okay to have this attitude.

A lot of White people think they own this whole world because they are quite simply taught this from infancy. Young children are subconsciously taught that anything good that has been invented, discovered cured or whatever has been done by white people. Do you remember your history textbooks from grade school ? I bet you didn't learn all about all the people of color that have contributed to society. I mean heck, they grow up seeing a blonde haired Blue eyed Jesus and they think wow He's perfect ... He's white.... OK white must equal perfect so therefore superior. Please don't get offended, I love everybody but take a lokk at history and you'll see what I mean

I don't. I respect races and cultures different than mine, and I don't go stomping all over tarnation just because I feel entitled to it. I try to put others first. Speaking of which, isn't your question a bit biased? I think mostly nationalists have this problem, not White people in general.

You must be of another race. I say this because you sound as though you are feeling sorry for your self because you do not have the intelligence to make it in this world with who you are.

I feel sorry for you that you feel that you must pull the race card in order to get ahead in this world.

I feel that there is some ignorance oozing from your pores, as this could be the only means for your statement.

I am half white and have to grandmothers that were Native American. However no one would ever know that because I do not pity my self.

I do not see color only ignorance.

In my opinion whites do not feel that way. I think minorities think whites feel that way. Whne a white person complains about anything then they are being racist towards whomever they have a complaint with. Whites want things to be fair and consistant

U.S. Citizens generally feel superior to other cultures. They have a lot of reasons to feel that way, including the best (insert pretty much anything here) the most advanced (insert pretty much anything here) and the most innovative (inset pretty much anything here). Given all that, why shouldn't they feel superior? Perhaps their attitude is not superior, just their station? Perhaps YOUR perception of personal inferiority is accurate as a result.

Not all whites do; thinking so makes you sound no different than those people you are speaking against.

hey, I'm asian and I feel this way. It's just the confidence that most people have in them regardless of their races. Why are you single out white people for??? All races have A$$holes and Angels! PLEASE STOP THE HATES! or are you just intimidated by white people?
