Sometimes I want a cold bottle of beer fast! So I put it in the freezer instead of the refrigerator. It takes about 30 mins to make a beer cold but sometimes i forget about it. Several times I've left the beer in the freezer for an hour or more. The beer is very cold but not frozen solid yet. I get it out of the freezer and its still all liquid. I can see the bubbles moving around when I move the bottle. I then leave it on the table. However when I return a few minutes later i find the beer is frozen solid!!! The beer can't have got any colder can it? Surely it can only get warmer outside of the freezer? I can't figure out why this happens. The only thing I can think of is maybe its something to do with the condensation that forms on the cold bottle after I remove it from the freezer. Can anyone answer this for me?
