You exist as long as you give yourself meaning or a purpose. Let either of those fail and you fail to exist.

We exist to ask why we exist. Yes, I exist, however I fit many stereotypes, so I could be a product of your perception. Lastly, If you were wrong about everything, that would explain how you misspelled everything. (evrything?)

You are probably wrong about everything.

Now for the harder questions..........

You are asking "why" because it is a built-in habit to ask that. You have asked it before but have yet to BELIEVE the other answers given to you, so far, by other people. You are searching for the wisest answer....but you are using a brain that is stuck on asking the question over and over and over and over and over and over.

If someone DID finally tell you "why" you existed you wouldn't believe them.......RIGHT???!!! But still you ask and ask and ask.

So.........is the problem with the question.... ...the answer.... ...or the QUESTIONER ??????!!!!!!

I see a problem with the questioner. You are stuck in an unresolvable rhetorical questioning do-loop.

My suggestion.........start "existing" more and then describe your experience articulately..... ..write it down and it will begin to answer the question you just asked.

I'm not convinced that we all exist for the same reason. I'm not convinced that all "humans" have the same type of soul or spirit "inside/within" their flesh/bodies. There could be billions of possibilities on the REAL reasons and facts of this existence we "share".

Watch the movie What The Bleep Do We Know? and tell me that we are ANYTHING in particular..........

Here is a lecture and a poem that I read when I begin to ask "too many questions".

http://sannyas.org/quotes/easy_ii.htm

A poem by Rumi called:

Jesus on a Lean Donkey

Jesus on a lean donkey,
this is an emblem of how the rational intellect should control the animal-soul.

Let your spirit be strong like Jesus.
If that part becomes weak, then the worn-out donkey grows to a dragon.
Be grateful when what seems unkind comes from a wise person.

Once,a holy man, riding his donkey, saw a snake crawling into a sleeping man's mouth!
He hurried, but he couldn't prevent it.
He hit the man several blows with his club.
The man woke terrified and ran beneath an apple tree with many rotten apples on the ground.

"Eat! You miserable wretch! Eat!"

"Why are you doing this to me?"

"Eat more you fool!"

"I've never seen you before! Who are you? Do you have some inner quarrel with my soul?"

The wise man kept forcing him to eat, and then he ran him. For hours he whipped the poor man and made him run. Finally, at nightfall, full of apples, fatigued, bleeding, he fell..............and vomited everything.............the good and the bad, the apples and the snake.
When he saw that ugly snake come out of himself, he fell on his knees before his assailant.
"Are you Gabriel? Are you God? I bless the moment you first noticed me. I was dead and I didn't know it. You've given me a new life. Everything I've said to you was stupid! I didn't know."

"If I had explained what I was doing, you might have panicked and died of fear. Muhammad said, 'If I described the enemy that lives inside men, even the most courageous would be paralysed. No one would go out, or do any work. No one would pray or fast, and all power to change would fade from human beings,' so I kept quiet while I was beating you, that like David I might shape iron, so that, impossibly, I might put feathers back into a bird's wing. God's silence is necessary, because of humankind's faintheartedness. If I had told you about the snake, you wouldn't have been able to eat, and if you hadn't eaten, you wouldn't have vomited. I saw your condition and drove my donkey hard into the middle of it, saying always under my breath, 'Lord, make it easy on him.' I wasn't permitted to tell you, and I wasn't permitted to stop beating you!"

The healed man, still kneeling, said "I have no way to thank you for the quickness of your wisdom and the strength of your guidance.
God will thank you."

By the way.......I do not exist to you This message was brought to you by your friends from............

Hi, well let's get deep......... You can't expect one human to answer that question,, that is something every human being has contemplated before........... Whether they want to admit it or not!! Life is what it is, Good and Bad........ I believe all our questions will be answered when we die......... There many different religions and beliefs and ways of life out there. It is up to you to decide what calls you........ Meaning, we are all born with internal instincts, mostly we ignore them. But if you get to know yourself more and listen to yourself more, than you will be on the right path. For whatever reason we are here on planet Earth!!! I believe it is for a reason, and that reason I will not Know till I die. Life is one experience after another, some good, so really bad. But with each experience you will always take something from it and it will always be with you. My Motto is, Listen to your gut, always believe in yourself. Even when no-one else does............... Good Luck

Hell, if I exist to serve god then I don't even exist. But really, we are not here to serve this supposed 'god'. There isn't, and never was, some big daddy in the sky that put us here. We exist to live and to make a difference in the world.

We exist to love and serve God and each other. And here's a clue. Philosphy is fun to exercise the mind, but it's nothing to try and base your life upon. If you tink pain is just an illusion, let me slam your hand in my car door.

If I'm simply a result of your perception, I want you to make some changes.

I'm tired of being broke all the time. I'm tired of fighting with my girlfriend. I'm tired of George Bush. And damnit, I'm sick of eating Ramen Noodles every stinking day. Why don't you start there.
