Hurricanes have had a huge effect on growing America Economy. What can we do about them. We are a great leader in technology can we ultimately control these natural calamities ?

We cant even get rid of corrupt politicians must less hurricanes.

Hurricanes are part of the global weather system. You won't get rid of them completely unless you cause total ecological collapse by rearranging the ocean currents. What *can* be done is to restore the barrier islands and wetlands that used to protect our coastlines before politicians bowed to money instead of the greater good and allowed them to be submerged for commercial development and shipping interests.

To stop global warming, we'd have to stop burning fossil fuels like oil (including gasoline), natural gas, and coal, and start using wind, water, solar, and nuclear power instead. And we'd have to tear down some urban sprawl and replace it with forests.

Somehow, I don't think that'll go over very well, but that's what needs to be done.

Hurricanes are natural disasters...keyword NATURAL.

Lets put a HUGE roof over every place that may be effected by a hurricane...that sounds like a GREAT idea.
