I might be pregnant and dont know if I can go to the dentist. Will it be okay to go or should I wait until I find out if Im pregnant or not?

Yes, you can go to the dentist. I did when I was pregnant. They just won't do any xrays until after the baby is born because of the radiation. Having your teeth cleaned and polished and checked by the dentist is perfectly safe. Just let your dentist and hygienist know you might be pregnant. Hope that helps. =)

Yes, you can go to the dentist when you're pregnant. If there is a possibility of pregnancy, and X-rays are necessary, the dentist will use a lead shield to cover you to protect the fetus. The dentist will know what medications to use, or if he doesn't, he will call your obstetrician to OK whatever meds might be required.

yes u can go to the dentist. just before they do anything to you, you have to inform them that u think u might be pregnant.

Just to be on the safe side, wait until the doctor confirms your pregnancy, then ask him. Going to the dentist during pregnancy is safe for most procedures.

Yes you can....I went. All you have to do is let them know so they won't do x-rays. It is important to keep all of you healthy including your mouth. The Doc may have helpful info on how to keep your teeth healthy which will help to keep you healthy. They maybe able to help if you have bad morning sickness to prevent major tooth damage from the acid. So yes go to the dentist it is good for the both of you.

yes u can go, i did but tell ur doc there is a possibility that ur pregnant and if he/she has to do anything with like cavities, they will have to schedule u after u have ur baby.
