I wanna know (from personal experience only) if these companies are good to work for. I'm trying to help my cousin find a decent, clean, good paying job. He was a cart attendent at Sam's Club and they treated him like crap! Here's my list on nearby businesses.....

Sears
Movie Theaters
Staples
Lowes
Home Depot
Office Depot
Pet Smart
Barnes and Nobles
Office Max
Discount Auto Parts
Hertz Rent a Car
Walgreens
CVS
Any good shops to work for in the mall??
L.A.Fitness (Do you need experience?)
Starbucks
Just for Feet
Publix (I hear the pay is not good but great company)
Walden Books

I just need a list of good jobs. If you've had a bad experience with a certain company, I'd appreciate to hear about it so I can tell him to avoid it. I've worked in fast food and my sister in retail so we told him not to work in Ross, Bealls, all fast food franchises. He's applied at Target but it seems they won't call him back. He's shy so little interaction would be best. Thanks.

No movie theatres!! Don't bother with them. i've worked for one for over 3 years only because i couldn't find a better job. The pay is super low, no matter what job you're doing there. It was AMC that i worked for. Too many headaches for such little pay.

you said personal experience and i dont have that..sorry.. but i personally think working for staples..lowes.home depot and office depot would be great..you get a lot of training and information that will come in handy in life.. if he is shy.. starbucks.. la fitness.. and stores like that are out..because you need sparkling personalities. walden books is great just for the education..and all those books. that is a reserved atmosphere..and you dont have to entertain.. reserved folks work there. nice choice. discount auto... hertz...nahhhhhhh. i personally think j.c. penney.. which has great benefits..believe it or not... and they have so many different depts you could work in.... i also read the book on how j.c. penney came about.. and i loved it. hope this helps

Working sucks. It doesnt matter if you work in the White House or if you work at Pete's Pube Removal Center. It all sucks. Plain and simple.
