sorry but this gets a bit graphic. well, my boyfriend swears that he produces too different kinds of seman. one is the obvious white. the other is clear. to be honest it all looks about the same to me. one's just thicker then the other. what's the difference between the two? are they made up of two different fluids? what makes one clear and the other not?

O.K.Here it is. The thick white fluid is sperm produced in the testes, and the clear fluid is seminal fluid produced in the
prostate. The purpose of seminal fluid is to (1) protect the sperm from the acidic vaginal environment, (2) to nourish the sperm and (3) to act as a lubricant. I knew that pre-med would
come in handy one day! I had faith.

It's perfectly normal. Your boyfriend just has a lot of feel-good-juice. The clear stuff is actually just natural man lubricant, which can still get you pregnant. The white stuff is the really concentrated sperm, which there should be more of compared to the clear stuff.

The white is the semen itself, a collection of agglutinated spermatozoids
the clear pale is the seminal liquid that drives the semen out like a tsunami
the crystal clear at the very beginning of the arousal is the natural lubricant that prepares to the smooth penetration

what comes out is made up of seminal fluid (enter the Prostate) and the actual sperm cells. If haveing a lot of sex sometimes it will be thin with more seminal fluid. If dehydrated it could be thicker and clumpy.

I forgot the name of it, but it is actually a fluid secreted to help the sperm on its journey, it is made from a gland downstream of the testes, and it mixes with the sperm when it passes down the vas deferens.

sperm swims in semen. Sometimes he will have more sperm than other times and it will appear clear. The less he cums the higher his sperm count, but also the higher his semen levels. If he is ejaculating often, the discharge will be thicker.
