President Reagan wouldn't even go into the Oval Office without a jacket and tie on. Shows you how much respect President Clinton had for the office.

I think you're confusing the White House (where Presidents live), and the Oval Office (where Presidents work). Clinton lied under oath about his activities in the Oval Office, not the White House.

That being said, no, I think most ex-Presidents had too much respect for the Oval Office and the Presidency to even give it a thought.

For instance, President Reagan never went the Oval Office without wearing a suit and tie.

"Before taking office in early 1981, Reagan told aides he was stunned to see photos of Jimmy Carter lounging in the Oval Office in blue jeans and no tie. The soon-to-be-inaugurated 40th president then vowed that "things are going to change."

Clinton so disrespected his job he regularly showed up there wearing sweat pants and a t-shirt.

Lots of Presidents had affairs: Jefferson with a slave, Harding had a mistress, JFK had Marilyn Monroe and several others. Clinton did nothing worse than what they did but the haters got him. He was a great president.

Past Presidents would consider Clinton a Criminal for this.

Past present and hopefully future presidents would, have and are disgusted by Clinton's behavior. He has single handedly disrespected the office and at the same time given a dangerous message to our youth that promiscuous sex, adultery, perjury and reprehensible behavior is OK.

President Reagan was respectful of the office he would not even take off his jacket in the oval office. I think about all presidents felt the same respect for the office. Clit was a ***** so I guess he got what he wanted.
