i would recomend Video Lan...(VLC player)... and search "Morpheus free downloads" and "Gnutella network free downloads" to find the movies...then, get some kind of program that will allow you to convert to m peg-1 / mpeg-2 / mpeg - 4 to get to play on some feature-loaded DVD players...some cheapos/freebies don't work with these formats...you need to get Nero DVD or any other version of Nero if you just need VCD...

to download, why don't you try BitTorrent? You can find really good stuff and lot of legal files are distributed this way.

If you didn't downloaded a full DVD rip, to put it on a home DVD player you usually have to convert it to a DVD compatible format, like MPEG2. I've used WinAVI with great results.

what ever you do dont sign up to one of those so called free movie download service they are all ripoffs. what they do is tell you that you can download unlimited movies when they know its illegal.they just take your money and give you a worthless program that dont work.and since it is illegal you cant expect the law to help you.

Go to Limewire or Napster. Even though they do have have songs, I would still go there.
