No not at all. If you got the promotion your boss probably thought that you were better for it. I mean don't go rubbing it in her face but be happy about it. It's a step up for you. Maybe this wasn't the right move for her. But encourage her an let her know that she will probably get a promotion of some sort soon enough. Hope I helped.

No, because obviously, the boss thought you would be able to handle the stress of the other job requirements for the promotion, otherwise, he/she would not have given it to you.

So Congartulations on the new promotion, and a piece of advice, remember that even though you and your sister both work for the same buisness, and that you are now above her on the ladder, you keep buisness at work, and the family life at home, don't let something like this come between the two of you, so when at home, talking about work is totally off limits.

I think you shoud refuse it, unless your employer will agree to also promote your sister at the same time. Otherwise, If you just don't have it in you to turn it down, then I think you need to split your increase in pay with your sister. JUST KIDDING!! Unless you did something underhanded to get the promotion, then IT'S YOURS, and you should not feel guilty about it.

No, you didn't make the decision. You were the best person for the job and that is why they choose you. You shouldn't feel guilty for getting ahead. If your sister was a sister she'd congratulate you and that is the end of it.

We were not all created equal. Therefore it is no wonder that you got the promotion and she did not. You should never feel guilty for succeeding...ever.

only if you did something under handed or stabbed her in the back for it. if not enjoy.... the best lady won. just dont rub it in her face. but you have a right to be happy and she would have been too if she would have been selected.
